Description
This rare little sake cup commemorates the victory of the Japanese Army in Manchuria (MANCHUKOU) in 1932. On the inside, you can see the yellow Manchuria occupation flag alongside the Japanese military flag with an infantry star and helmet. Japan occupied China from 1932 to 1945. So this cup likely dates between this time period. The cup reads “Commemorative Victory, 3rd Infantry Manchuria”. Very good condition – some wear on the gold and two small indentation in the rim (see photos).
