Description
This beautiful sake cups commemorates “full service” or MANKI in the Japanese navy in WWII. You can see the black anchor next to the red and white military flag along side a blue cherry blossom. Cherry blossoms are usually painted pink but since it is Navy, blue was used. The base is has a unusual square shape with indented cherry blossoms on around it. Unusual design. Very good condition overall.
